A Stack of WRT54GL

septembre 28, 2006

As part of the technological investigation for OG-WiFi, I get to play with some nice toys. Last week, Nathalie and I was setting up a few routers for our hotspots and we stacked them up in order to get them all online at the same time. It looked funny; three routers in a house is kind of an overkill, isn’t it? Installing OpenWRT and Wifidog is getting easier with every router and I can now perform an installation in about 30 minutes. I could probably do it even faster if I would keep off Wikipedia!

  3. I luv it! Now can we get mine configured! I am the grasshopper and you are the masters with the pebbles in your hand – which is the wifidog install knowled – when i can snatch the pebble from your hands then i too will get closer to your greatness! Did you ever see david caradeen in Kung Fu – http://www.kungfu-guide.com/

  4. I wrote a few pages on the Wiki about how to install and configure OpenWRT and Wifidog. Have a look at them and let me know if there are areas that are confusing. (Remember: this is a first draft, mostly written from memory.)
